Big Oak Farm

Big Oak Farm was founded in 2012 when Jennifer deGroot and Will Braun realized a dream of returning to their rural roots, landing on a century-old farmyard south of Morden, Manitoba. Jennifer, Will, and their two young sons tend a small flock of purebred Icelandic sheep and sell raw fleece, natural coloured yarn, lamb skins, and registered breeding stock. With an ever-broadening diversity of vegetables, fruits and livestock, Big Oak Farm is a lively, ever-adapting experiment in low carbon living and high value farming.
